Major lack of updates. I will be posting two new paintings here and on my website later this evening. In the meantime, here's a storyboard panel from an independent short film I'm currently working on! Don't touch that dial!
So I had a couple mp3's that had no album artwork, so I took it upon myself to see what I could whip up in an extremely short time. Here's the first couple I did, just for fun (in order):
the Depreciation Guild are a great band I've been listening to lately, and Rafael Grampáis an incredible artist who has somehow managed to slip past my radar until recently. I can't wait for his new books to drop...in the meantime, I will be posting some new art in the next few days, so check back soon!
I have 6 custom painted skate decks for sale! Here's a picture of them, please feel free to shoot me an e-mail for any inquiries as to price, detail photos, etc. if interested! I need to move these, so pricing will be...competitive...haha.
Here's the mock-up of the latest merch i designed for Everlea. Check em out opening for Taking Back Sunday with Moneen on the 19th (I hear there will be some sweet merch there as well...)!
This is a type treatment I created for the band the Ascot Royals. Fantastic band, great guys, check them out! I will have some merch designs/album artwork to post soon!
I apologize for the lack of updates! Things have been pretty busy, but I should have some exciting stuff to post up soon! I'm also in the process of re-over-hauling my website, which upon completion will be the place to see any and all of my new work.
In the meantime, I'd like to share some things that inspire me! First of all, check out the work of Francoise Nielly. My good friend Bennett Slater turned me onto her work, and it has been blowing my mind since. As far as music is concerned, I still can't get enough of Phoenix's newest album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, or Shad K's entire catalog. That guy is my hero. Do yourselves a favour, go look and listen!
Here's some shirt designs I finished up recently for the band Everlea! We ended up going with these simpler four colour designs, and I'm pretty stoked on how they turned out. Now that the shirts are printed, hopefully I'll have some photos of the finished product up soon!!
