Those who know me know how important music is to me. They may also have noticed how online music news source/behemoth has clearly lost their marbles when it comes to the year in review (Rick Ross and no Nas?). Thank you!

The opening reception for my first solo exhibition (Fracture) went off last night, and it was a great success! Huuuuuge, sincere thank you to everyone who came out last night for the reception, and everyone who helped make it happen! It was great seeing everybody, and it means a lot to me that you all stopped by (and from so far and wide!). Big thanks to #Hashtag Gallery for putting me up! You guys are all the best.

Fracture: The Art of Andrew Patterson

Mock Band Poster #1: Norma Jean

I've been working on a series of fake band gig posters recently for fun, just to try out new things and play around with various layouts and ideas. I'll be trying to post them regularly over the next little while. Here's #1: Inspired by the song Vertebraille from Norma Jean's O' God the Aftermath. Let me know what you think!

Some New Life Drawings

Here's a few life drawings I did at #Hashtag Gallery's inaugural life drawing session. I highly recommend checking it out! Great dudes organizing all sorts of great activities and events outside of exhibits. It's been a minute since I busted a life drawing, but I think I was able to grind a bit of the rust off. Practice makes perfect....

"Intimate Gestures" is a group art exhibition featuring over 30 emerging Toronto artists. The collection is made up of photographs, films, illustrations, poems and installations that address a plethora of issues faced by the lover or the loved. The turbulence of desire, of distress and of excess.
